There are seasons when even the things we used to love don't bring us joy, when laughter feels out of reach, when everything feels too much—or worse, nothing at all.
If you're in this space, I want you to know that you haven't failed. You're not lazy. And you're not beyond help. You're simply out of alignment, and it makes sense. Life can be a lot sometimes. And you don't have to stay here. You can shift. Slowly. Gently. Thought by thought. Breath by breath.
Affirmation: Even when joy feels far away, I trust it can return to me––one small shift at a time.

If you're feeling stuck, try this:
Take note of one thing you're grateful for. It doesn't have to be big—an iced coffee. Clean sheets. A quiet moment to yourself. Gratitude creates tiny cracks for light to enter.
Move your body, even a little. Walk around the block. Stretch. Shake it out. Have a dance party in your kitchen. Movement releases what's stuck.
Connect with someone safe. A friend. A pet. A stranger's kind smile. Connection reminds us that we’re human—that we’re meant to feel, to share, to belong.
Do one small thing differently. Open a window. Light a candle. Take a new route. Changing one thing can change everything.
Speak kindly to yourself. You've survived 100% of your hardest days. You're still here. That counts for something!
You don't need to force happiness. You just need to reach for neutral. And from there, eventually, joy becomes possible again.
If you're in this space, I hope this has been helpful. And if you're thinking of a loved one or someone else who might be here, please forward this to them.
Sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do is remind someone that they're not alone.
